7. The Boxes shall be vacated within 30 minutes after the last race of a race meeting concerned.
8. Dress code: singlets, shorts and flip-flops are unacceptable forms of dress in the HKJC VIP Box. HKJC reserves the right to deny access to customers and guests who do not meet the dress code requirements.
9. Reservation service of the Box at Sha Tin Racecourse is provided by HKJC directly, Hang Seng disclaims any liabilities in relation to the above reservation service.
10. The promotion is governed by these terms and conditions, terms and conditions of the relevant reservation form and other terms and conditions stipulated by HKJC.
11. All food and services are provided by HKJC which is solely responsible for all related obligations and liabilities.

Terms and Conditions:
1. This benefit entitles Eligible Cardmember (as defined in clause 3 of these Terms and Conditions) three (3) times racing and dining experience at The Platinum Card VIP Box (“The Box”) located at Box C501, 5/F, Pavilion Stand, Happy Valley Racecourse during the race meetings when races are hosted at Happy Valley Racecourse or E628, 6/F, Grandstand II, Shatin Racecourse during the race meetings when races are hosted at Shatin Racecourse according to Hong Kong Jockey Club’s (“HKJC”) racing fixture during 2022/2023 horse racing season (“Benefit”).
2. The 2022/2023 horse racing season is set to start on September 11 2022, and finish on July 16, 2023.
3. This Benefit is only available to Basic Cardmembers of The Platinum Card® and American Express® Peninsula Platinum Card issued by American Express International, Inc. ("American Express") in Hong Kong only and having a total spend of at least HK$50,000 (including supplementary cards spending) within a 6-month period before an Eligible Cardmember is able to make any reservations (“Eligible Cardmember”).
4. Available Race Meeting date will be offered to Eligible Cardmembers through an enquiry call. Tables are open for reservations upon 30 calendar days at HK time 12:00 noon (GMT+8) before a Race Meeting but no reservations will be accepted within 10 calendar days before any other Race Meeting. Each Platinum Card Account can reserve up to three races per season.
5. Each Eligible Cardmember is entitled to reserve one (1) table at The Box on the offered Race Meeting date. The Eligible Cardmember must be present in person at the Race Meeting to exercise this Benefit. Eligible Cardmember may need to show his/her Card for identification purpose.
6. Each Eligible Cardmember may bring up to three (3) guests, sharing the same table. Eligible Cardmember must advise the total number of persons, to be seated at his/her table when confirming the reservation. Once the reservation is confirmed, any change or rescheduling will not be permitted.
7. Each table is priced at HK$4,388, inclusive of admission badge(s) for accessing areas and facilities designated by HKJC within the Racecourse and lunch/dinner at The Box for the Eligible Cardmember and up to three (3) guests (“Basic Charge”). No Membership Rewards® points will be rewarded for the Basic Charge.
8. Reservations are subject to table availability, and on a first-come, first-served basis.
9. Upon successful reservation, a confirmation email by American Express will be sent to the Eligible Cardmember within seven (7) calendar days. If Eligible Cardmembers do not receive such confirmation by seven (7) calendar days before the Race Meeting, please contact the Platinum Card Service Hotline (852) 2277 2233 for assistance.
10. The Basic Charge and any incremental charges will be charged directly to the Eligible Cardmembers’ Cardin full amount once a reservation is confirmed by American Express.
11. This Benefit is non-transferable or sellable.
12. This Benefit excludes any additional food and beverage ordered by the Eligible Cardmember in The Box and relevant service charge. A 10% service charge will be levied on any additional food and beverage.
13. Any additional spending by the Eligible Cardmember or guests at The Box must be settled in full by an American Express® Card at the table. The Eligible Cardmembers’ Card has to be an active, non-cancelled Card when enjoying the Benefit.
14. Tipping is strictly prohibited.

16. Once a reservation is confirmed, the Eligible Cardmember should expect admission voucher(s) to be couriered to his/ her correspondence address. Each admission badge is good for use for one person only on the specified day.
17. The Eligible Cardmember and guests are required to present and display their admission badges at all times for accessing The Box area and other areas and facilities as designated by HKJC. All admission vouchers and badges are non- transferable.
18. Admission vouchers and admission badges are valid for the specific Race Meeting as printed. Photocopy of the admission voucher is not accepted. No replacement of the admission voucher or admission badge will be issued if lost, stolen or defaced.

27. Mobile phone must be switched to silent or vibration mode before entering the Racecourse. Usage of mobile phone is strictly limited to areas outside The Box, including the balcony, corridor, lift lobby, toilet, and betting hall.
28. The Box and its facilities are intended for personal and social use for the Eligible Cardmembers and their guests only. No public, business or commercial, religious, political or fundraising activities shall be conducted in The Box without the prior written consent of HKJC.
29. All photos, video or audio recordings taken by the users of The Box shall be solely for personal purposes. Publications of the same through whichever media (such as on print, online or via social media) for promotional or commercial purposes are prohibited. American Express and HKJC reserves the right to stop any person from taking photos, video or audio recordings at any time.
30. Unless with prior written consent of HKJC, no member of the press, in his professional capacity, shall be invited into The Box.
31. HKJC reserves the right to cancel or change the date of Race Meeting, due to racetrack condition or other reasons. For the latest details please check with HKJC or visit their website at here. If a Race Meeting is cancelled or re-scheduled by the HKJC pursuant to this clause 31, American Express shall determine to process a refund or re-schedule a reservation for Eligible Cardmembers at its sole discretion.
