General Terms & Conditions:

3. Unless otherwise specified, Cardholders are required to state their intention to enjoy the offer(s) to the respective merchant prior to payment and settle the whole payment by respective Eligible Cards in order to enjoy the offer(s) from the respective merchant.

Activity Rules:
1. 2024 Hong Kong public transportation instant discount promotion (refers to “Promotion”) is valid from 1 December 2024 until 31 January 2025, or when the maximum promotion quota cap has been reached, whichever comes first (refers to “Promotion Period”).
2. Designated payment methods: The Promotion is applicable only to the UnionPay Mobile QuickPass (including but not limited to Apple Pay, Huawei Pay and etc.), with UnionPay credit cards/ATM Cards (refers to “UnionPay Card”) bound to the mobile wallet app, or UnionPay QR Code (including but not limited to the Transit QR Codes of UnionPay APP, BoC Pay, BNU App, ICBC Mobile Banking, Tai Fung Pay, BOC Macau, and the Payment Codes of mobile applications supporting UnionPay QR Code Payment for taking Star Ferry) for designated fare payment, and is also applicable to the “QR Code Ticket” at the MTR Mobile with UnionPay APP set as default payment source for paying MTR fares.
3. 5. The payment for transportation fares using UnionPay Mobile QuickPass or UnionPay QR Code generally defaults to adult fares.

10. The actual deduction timing is subject to the timing initiated by each third-party transportation company. Pre-authorised transactions are counted based on the actual transaction records, which may occupy the daily discount quota during settlement.
11. UnionPay International Company Limited (refers to “UnionPay International”) will send a notification message to the mobile phone numbers bound to the registered cardholders’ UnionPay cards upon the cardholders’ successful redemption of the Offer, including but not limited to the actual discount amount.
12. Registration may not guarantee the Offer, which is subject to the availability of the quota.
13. The Offer is limited to a total of 200,000 quotas on a first-come, first-served basis. The promotion may end early subject to the availability of the quota.
14. Under all circumstances shall all timestamps of this Promotion (including but not limited to the transaction date/time), transaction amounts, reversal, revocation, cancellation or refund, be based on the UnionPay back-end system records.
15. Each eligible transaction is only entitled to one reward only. If the transaction is qualified for more than one reward campaigns, UnionPay International system reserves the absolute right to determine which reward campaign applies.
16. Unless otherwise specified, the Offer cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions, including the UnionPay Offers and certain sectional fare offers provided by designated public transportation companies involving refunds. The distributed instant discounts will be cancelled upon the fare refunds from the public transportation companies and the quota used will still be counted, except for cross-border consumption exchange rate discounts for which registration has been successfully completed. Currently, the order of discount offers shall be instant discounts first, then the exchange rate discounts.
17. If cardholders cancel the card registration, the card will no longer be eligible for instant discounts after the cancellation.
18. The Offer details will not be shown on the screens of MTR Gate, MTR Mobile, or POS machines of the participating companies. Cardholders can refer to the actual amount debited by the issuing bank.
19. Registration with the same device, same user ID, same mobile number, same bank card reserved mobile number, same bank card or same identity card number will be classified as the same Cardholder/ User.
20. The Offer is only applicable to qualified transactions excluding withdrawn, reversed, cancelled, refunded transactions nor fraudulent activities. If the transaction is cancelled by MTR Corporation Limited, The Kowloon Motor Bus Company (1933) Limited, Long Win Bus Company Limited, Citybus Limited, New Lantao Bus Company (1973) Limited, Hong Kong Tramways Limited, Hong Kong and Kowloon Ferry Limited, Sun Ferry Services Company Limited or the Star Ferry Company Limited, the Offer will be cancelled and the quota used will still be counted. Since the UnionPay International system cannot identify whether the revocation, cancellation or refund is due to the subjective will of cardholders or other reasons like the system, UnionPay International will disqualify cardholders from enjoying the discount, and reserves the right to pursue legal liability and retrieve the instant discount which has already been granted. The quota originally issued will not be returned after the transaction is withdrawn, cancelled, or refunded/ returned.
21. If the transaction is cancelled or refunded, the balance of paid amount will be refunded to the corresponding UnionPay card. The discount amount will not be returned for any manual refund. If the refunded amount after cancellation is incorrect, do contact the UnionPay International customer service hotline for inquiries.
22. Participating cardholders will be disqualified for any of the following violations (refers to “Violations”):
a) Fraud transaction;
b) Participation in the Promotion for the purpose of illegal profits;
c) Participation in the Promotion by maliciously using multiple accounts, participation or assistance in withdrawal of UnionPay resources (including but not limited to offers, coupons or rewards of all kinds);
d) Participation in the Promotion by any robot software, spider software, crawler software, spamming software or other automated means;
e) Violations of the principle of good faith;
f) Implementing other cheating behaviour that is not actually receipt.
23. If there is any violation during participation in the Promotion, UnionPay International reserves the right to disqualify the cardholders, forfeit the discount, withdraw the discount issued, and decline to allow the cardholders to enrol in any UnionPay International promotions in the future. UnionPay International reserves the right to claim against the offending users according to the seriousness of the circumstances and pursue relevant legal responsibilities.
24. It shall be known by the cardholders that all kinds of uncertainties exist in the Internet. UnionPay International reserves the right to suspend the Promotion due to force majeure, communication route failure or large-scale computer hacking etc.
25. Cardholders should ensure the information provided is complete, true and accurate. If the cardholders’ registered card number is inconsistent with the actual payment card number, and resulting in the failure to enjoy the Offer, the cardholders shall bear the corresponding responsibility. UnionPay International does not assume any liability arising from it.
26. If the cardholders fail to enjoy the Offer due to their own electronic device problems/network reception/data transfer, or other system issues, UnionPay International does not assume any liability arising from it.
27. The usage of UnionPay APP is bound by other terms and conditions. Cardholders can refer to UnionPay APP for details.
28. Non-local cardholders should note that some card types may be affected by the configuration of the card-issuing bank, and need to activate overseas transaction permission in advance, pay close attention to the account balance or spending limit, and get transaction password ready. 29. Cardholders shall understand and accept that UnionPay International is not the supplier of the transit services, and therefore unable to obtain information on the cardholder's travel route or the required fare amount. For the fare or service details, please contact the corresponding public transportation companies for inquiries. UnionPay International will not assume any responsibility for the related transit services.
30. Cardholders must carefully read and fully understand all the terms and conditions of the Promotion. Participation in the Promotion constitutes an acceptance of all terms and conditions of the Promotion.
31. UnionPay International reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions in the Chinese and English versions within the limits allowed by applicable laws. UnionPay International does not assume any liability arising from any changes of the Promotion or terms. All information is subject to the content announced through official channels of UnionPay International.
32. For any discrepancy between the terms and conditions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
Exception Clause:

Remarks:

I. Fare transaction made at Airport Express, Light Rail and MTR Bus;

2. The Promotion only applies to customers holding Principal Card or Supplementary Card of the Visa card or Co-brand card issued by Dah Sing Bank, Limited ("Eligible Card") ("Eligible Cardholders"). 6. 8. The Bank will determine the eligibility of Eligible Spending based on the merchant code or transaction category or type of currency as defined from time to time by the Bank or Visa International as well as the record of the Bank. Eligible Spending shall be determined at the sole and absolute discretion of the Bank. The Bank shall not be liable to determine the eligibility of any transactions before they are made by the Eligible Cardholders.
9. The Promotion mentioned herein shall be terminated immediately in the event that the Participating Merchant ceases its business.
10. The Bank is not the supplier of the relevant services offered to the Eligible Cardholders by the Participating Merchant and shall not be responsible for any matters in relation to the relevant services. The Bank makes no representation or guarantee in respect of the relevant services. Any enquiries, comments or complaints about the relevant services should be directed to the Participating Merchant.
11. The Bank will use the Bank's transaction record to determine the eligibility of Eligible Cardholders. The relevant Eligible Card should be maintained as valid and in good credit standing during the entire Promotion Period and when the Cash Rebate is to be offered and credited into the relevant Eligible Card account. The relevant Eligible Spending must be posted.
12. Eligible Cardholder is required to keep record of relevant transactions. In case of any disputes, the Bank reserves the right to require the Eligible Cardholder to submit relevant Eligible Spending record for verification purpose. Submitted Eligible Spending records and documents (whether original or copy) will not be returned.
13. In case of any fraud / abuse / reversal / cancellation of transactions in respect of which the relevant Cash Rebate under the Promotion is awarded, the Bank reserves the right to debit the equivalent value of the relevant Cash Rebate from relevant Eligible Cardholder's account(s), as the case may be, without prior notice.
14. The Bank and Participating Merchant reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions or cancel, suspend or amend the Promotion at any time without prior notice. Should any disputes arise, the decision of the Bank shall be final.
15. These Terms and Conditions shall form part of any applicable agreements governing the use of the Eligible Cards and shall be construed accordingly. In case of any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and aforementioned agreements, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
16. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong. Any dispute arising under these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the nonexclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
17. A person who is not a party to these Terms and Conditions may not enforce any of their provisions under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Cap.623 of the Laws of Hong Kong).
18. In the event of any discrepancy between the Chinese version and English version of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
General Terms and Conditions of "Year-round and Privileged Offers":
1. The "Year-round and Privileged Offers" ("Offer") is valid from 1 Jan 2024 to 31 Dec 2024 (both dates inclusive) ("Promotion Period") (unless otherwise specified).
2. The Offer only applies to customers holding Principal Card or Supplementary Card of the credit card or Co-brand card ("Eligible Card") issued by Dah Sing Bank, Limited ("Bank") ("Eligible Cardholder"). The Bank's Cash Card, Corporate Card, Purchasing Card, Business Card, Gift Card, Private Label Card, "Smart Choice" Balance Transfer Program Account and Cash Conversion Plan Account are not eligible. 3. The Eligible Cardholder must settle full payment with Eligible Card to enjoy the Offer.

5. Unless otherwise specified, the Offer is available at all outlets, websites and / or mobile apps of the Participating Merchants (if applicable). In order to be eligible for the Offer, the Eligible Cardholder must enter a designated promo code / offer code / coupon code (if applicable) when making payment via the Participating Merchant's website or mobile app. The Bank or the Participating Merchants shall not be liable if the Eligible Cardholder fails to enter the designated promo code / offer code / coupon code and is unable to enjoy the Offer.
6. Foreign currency transactions shall be automatically converted into Hong Kong dollars on the date the relevant transaction is processed at a rate determined by the relevant card association (i.e. VISA International, MasterCard Asia / Pacific (Hong Kong) Limited, UnionPay International) (if applicable). For details of service charges relating to foreign currency transactions, please refer to "List of Service Charges for Dah Sing Credit Card / Private Label Card" issued by the Bank.
7. The Offer is only applicable to regular-priced items and is not applicable to fixed-priced, selected, discounted or promotional items (unless otherwise specified) (if applicable).
8. The Offer cannot be exchanged for cash, bonus points, other products, services or discounts. The Offer is not refundable and transferable and cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional offers, discounts, discount cards, VIP cards, cash vouchers and gift vouchers (unless otherwise specified) (if applicable).

11. The use of cash coupons / gift coupons is subject to the relevant terms and conditions printed thereon. The Bank is not the supplier of any cash coupons / gift coupons / other gifts / products / food / services offered to the Eligible Cardholders and shall not be responsible for any matters in relation to the quality and availability of cash coupons / gift coupons / other gifts / products / food / services. The Bank makes no representation or guarantee in respect of such cash coupons / gift coupons / other gifts / products / food / services supplied under the Offer. Any enquiry, comment or complaint about such cash coupons / gift coupons / other gifts / products / food / services should be directed to Participating Merchants.
12. The Offer is subject to availability. The price and Offer terms may be changed from time to time. The Bank and Participating Merchants reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions or cancel or amend the Offer at any time without prior notice. For details, please contact the Participating Merchants. Should any disputes arise, the decision of the Bank and the Participating Merchants shall be final.
13. These Terms and Conditions shall form part of the applicable agreements governing the use of Eligible Cards and shall be construed accordingly. In case of any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and such agreements, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
14. In case of any fraud / abuse / reversal or cancellation of transactions in respect of which the Offer is awarded, the Bank reserves the right to debit the equivalent amount of the Offer from the Eligible Cardholder's account(s) without prior notice.
15. In the event of any discrepancy between the Chinese version and English version of these Terms and Conditions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
16. Gifts are available while stock lasts. Participating Merchants reserve the right to offer any alternative products if the relevant product is out of stock or otherwise not available without prior notice (if applicable).
Dining Offer's Terms and Conditions (if applicable):
1. The Offer is not valid on public holidays and eves, festive days and eves and black-out days such as Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day and etc (unless otherwise specified).
2. The Offer is valid for dine-in food only. Advance booking is required. The Eligible Cardholder must indicate that the bill will be settled using an Eligible Card (as defined under clause 2 of the General Terms and Conditions) before ordering. The Offer is not applicable to discounted set meal / dishes (unless otherwise specified).
3. The Offer is not applicable to private parties, private room dining, banquets, special functions, room services, beverages, cigarette and liquor, promotional items / menus, ticketed events, tea and condiments and 10% service charges (unless otherwise specified).
4. If any food items are sold out, Participating Merchants reserve the right to substitute such items with alternative items without prior notice.
