AEON Credit Card “Shopping Fest at Mega Box” Terms and Conditions (the “Promotion”):
1. AEON Credit Service (Asia) Co.,Ltd. (“AEON”), MegaBox Development Company Limited and MegaBox are the organizer of this campaign (the “Organizers“). The promotion period is from 14 Dec 2022 to 28 Feb 2023 (both dates inclusive) (“Promotion Period”).
2. Eligible AEON Credit Card includes the credit cards and co-brand credit cards issued by AEON Credit Service (Asia) Co., Ltd (“Eligible AEON Credit Card”).
3. During the Promotional Period, AEON cardholder spending with the Eligible AEON Credit Card (“AEON Cardholder”) at MegaBox can enjoy the below offer (the “Offer”):
Reward 1:
- Same day Spending Amount*: HK$1,500 or above
- Maximum No. of Receipt: 2
- Amount of dining e-voucher: HK$50 AEON Gift Certificate (“HK$50 Voucher”)
Reward 2:
- Same day Spending Amount*: HK$3,000 or above
- Maximum No. of Receipt: 2
- Amount of dining e-voucher: HK$50 AEON Gift Certificate + HK$50 Selected MegaBox F&B Merchant Cash Voucher (“HK$100 Vouchers”)
*Eligible AEON Cardholder can redeem each reward with a maximum of 2 receipts from 2 different merchants in the same day with each receipt showing the purchase value HK$100 or above (for the details of receipt ineligible of the Offer, please refer to Point 9 below).
4. Daily quota applies on the cash vouchers, and is available on a first-come-first-served basis whilst stock lasts.
5. AEON Cardholder can redeem HK$50 voucher once each at MegaBox each day, and the voucher is applicable at respective participating merchants’ MegaBox shops only.
6. AEON Cardholder can redeem HK$100 vouchers once each at MegaBox each day, and the voucher is applicable at respective participating merchants’ MegaBox shops only.
7. Each set of eligible receipts can only redeem either Reward 1 or 2. Each set of receipts and respective electronic payment slip can be registered once only, and can only be used for participating in one promotion (including this Promotion, Points Earning, Premiums Redemption, other in-mall promotional activities, etc.). In each particular day within the Promotion Period, AEON Cardholder can only redeem in total HK$50 Voucher and HK$100 Vouchers once respectively with 2 sets of valid machine-printed merchant receipt and the corresponding electronic payment slips.
8. <“Festival Spending Rewards” Promotion> Cardholder need to log on to “AEON HK” mobile app and register “Festival Spending Rewards” Promotion, spend with the designated amount in each spending phase to enjoy up to HK$200 cash rebate during the promotion period. There are total 2 phases within “Festival Spending Rewards” which are applicable to this Promotion. Each registered cardholder account can enjoy a maximum of up to HK$200 cash rebate in each spending phase (11 Dec 2022 – 10 Jan 2023 & 11 Jan 2023 – 10 Feb 2023). Cash rebate amount will be credited to registered cardholder’s registered card account and shown on the statement with payment due date on 2 Mar 2023. 9. Valid merchant receipt does not include receipts of deposit or partial payment, banking service, recharge service, mobile SIM card recharge, bill, tuition (except Mega Ice), membership, purchase of prepaid-card (e.g. gift card, gift voucher, cash voucher, discount card, etc.), online payment receipt, sales venue or booths receipts, hand written or reprinted receipts.
10. Electronic payment methods, including but not limited to UnionPay App, AlipayHK, PayMe, TNG and WeChat Pay HK, will be classified as ineligible transactions. We will not accept receipts for transactions paid by cash, gift vouchers or other methods of payment for this Promotion.
11. is only applicable for Monday to Friday (except public holiday), AEON Cardholders spend over HK$100 with the Eligible AEON Credit Card at MegaBox can enjoy the extra 1 hour free parking.
12. Eligible transactions from the same merchant at MegaBox cannot be split into multiple machine-printed merchant receipt with same or different Eligible AEON Credit Card to participate in the voucher redemption.
13. Receipts, sales invoices or sales slips in copies, handwritten-styled or reprint and bank statement will not be accepted. Transactions do not include the cancelled, refunded, forged and unsettled transactions.
14. AEON Cardholder must present the original copies of valid machine-printed merchant receipt and the corresponding electronic payment slips. All machine-printed merchant receipt must be issued during merchant operation hours in MegaBox. All machine-printed merchant receipt must clearly show the name of the merchant, shop address, invoice number, transaction number, transaction date and amount of the transaction and transaction items. The original copy of payment slip should indicate the Eligible AEON Credit Card number, merchant name, transaction date, transaction amount, valid authorization code and signature of Cardholders (if applicable) clearly. If AEON Cardholder cannot present the valid original copies of sales receipt, payment slips and/or the Eligible Credit Card with consistent information, or the provided information is insufficient, AEON Cardholder will not be able to redeem the Offer. Amended, damaged, photo-copied receipts or receipts showing "transaction not accepted", are not acceptable.
15. Receipts that are voided, returned or with refunded (partially or fully) transactions are not eligible for participating in any promotions (including this Promotion, Points Earning, Premiums Redemption, other in-mall promotional activities, etc.)
16. AEON Cardholder should keep the original receipts and related sale slips for 3 months (inclusive) from the starting date of related promotion for verification purpose if needed.
17. AEON Cardholder needs to redeem at MegaBox designated redemption location in-person within redemption hours on the same day of transaction. AEON Cardholder needs to present Eligible AEON Credit Card, valid same-day machine-printed merchant receipt and the corresponding electronic payment slips to let redemption staff to verify the transaction and redeem the rewards. AEON Cardholder must visit MegaBox where transaction is made in person and also for the redemption of The Offer.
18. Redemption staff can request AEON Cardholder to present identification for verification. The voucher will be credited to Cardholder’s immediately after verification and registration by the staff.
Redemption staff have the right to record the partial Eligible AEON Credit Card number and take electronic copy of each merchant receipt and payment slips of AEON Cardholder, and keep them for audit purpose only. Cardholder understands that once they have provided the required information for redemption, it represents they agree their data to be collected and understand the above said purpose of data collection.
19. (If applicable) The personal data supplied by AEON Cardholder may be required for the operation of the Promotion, including the issue of the Reward(s). Failure by AEON Cardholder to provide or keep the required data up-to-dated might result in being unable to process the redemption and thus issue the Reward(s).
The personal data collection of the AEON Cardholder and its use will be subject to the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, AEON’s “Notice to Customers relating to the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance” and MegaBox Development Co. Ltd.’s “Personal Data Collection Statement”. For the details, please refer to the official website of the respective company.
20. All original copies of merchant receipts used for voucher redemption will be stamped by redemption staff after verification. AEON Cardholder cannot request refund from merchants with receipt that has been stamped. No refund will be accepted for stamped receipt. Remaining spending amount of eligible receipt(s) used for redemption (for Reward 1 – HK$1,500 & Reward 2 – HK$3,000) will not be eligible for other mall promotions.
21. AEON Gift Certificate will be valid for 2 years, for exact valid date, please refer to the voucher for details, and Ruby Tuesday Dining Voucher & Shanghai Min Dining Voucher will be valid until June 30, 2023 and will not be re-issued. Voucher is only eligible in participating merchants of MegaBox.
22. When using voucher to purchase, the transaction (after deducting the amount of voucher) would need to be settled by AEON Credit Cards.
23. Upon the Offer’s redemption is confirmed, no cancellation, amendment, transfer, return, exchange for cash nor keep the change is allowed. Terms and conditions applied for using voucher. Please refer to the voucher for details.
24. All Premiums are not refundable or exchangeable for cash.
25. Photos and values are for reference only.
26. In case of shortage of stock, Organizer will replace any Premiums without prior notice.
27. New customer shall mean applicant who applies for the Eligible AEON Credit Card, who has not held any valid designated AEON Credit Card in the past 12 months (including not yet activated credit card). Designated AEON Credit Cards include AEON Visa Credit Card, AEON Mastercard Credit Card, AEON UnionPay Credit Card, AEON JCB Credit Card and AEON Card JAL. 28. Cardholder’s eligibility will be cancelled if the Organizers believe the cardholder has acted in a fraudulent or abusive way. Organizer reserves the right to deduct an equivalent amount of The Offer in the relevant credit card account without prior notice.
29. Any delay, loss, error, unrecognizable information due to technical problems such as computer or internet, system failure or interception by third party applications will not be the responsibility of the Organizers. The date and time of the event are subject to the final decision of the Organizers. The Organizers are not liable for any loss arising from lost, delayed or misplaced data.
30. The Organizers reserve the right to add, delete and/or vary the details, contents and/or Terms and Conditions of the Promotion/redemption, and/or change or cancel the Promotion at any time without prior notice; please refer to QR code or promotion website for the latest details.
31. Staff of MegaBox and all merchants are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.
32. By participating in the redemption, AEON Cardholder agrees to be bound by the Terms and Conditions.
33. In case of any dispute in relation to or in connection with the Promotion, redemption, Terms and Conditions or any incidental matters, the Organizers reserve the right for final and conclusive decisions. If any part of the Terms and Conditions is unclear, the Organizers reserve the rights to interpret when deemed appropriate.
34. If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
