Remarks:
1. All transactions made with 0% Merchant Split Purchase, whether made at CashBack Merchants or non-CashBack Merchants, are only eligible for CashBack at the CashBack Rate of 1% or 2% (as the case may be).
2. This CashBack offer only applies to Hong Kong accounts on this CashBack Merchant’s platform(s).

HKTaxi X Mastercard Taxi Dollars Rebate Offer is only applicable to a cardholder holding a valid Mastercard card (“Eligible Mastercard”). A cardholder holding a valid Eligible Mastercard who is also an HKTaxi app (“HKTaxi”) user (“User(s)”) shall be referred to as the “Cardholder” below. An “Eligible Transaction” occurs when a Cardholder uses his/her Eligible Mastercard to pay for all relevant fares and fees associated with a taxi ride through HKTaxi.

1. Promotion period: From 12:00pm 1 November 2023 to 11:59pm 31 December 2024. (both dates inclusive and based on transaction date)
2. Offer: For every Eligible Transaction conducted with an eligible Mastercard card, a Cardholder will be rewarded Taxi Dollars whose amount is equal to 3% (rounded down to the nearest 10 cents) of the taxi fare (the taxi fare is inclusive of toll of roads and tunnels, any additional charges, surcharges and tips but administration fee excluded).
3. A Cardholder will receive the aforementioned amount of Taxi Dollars in his/her HKTaxi App account upon the completion of an Eligible Transaction.
4. To use the Taxi Dollars obtained under this Offer for future rides, a Cardholder has to indicate clearly his/her wish to redeem the Taxi Dollars before settling payment for the taxi ride by confirming the process at his/her own HKTaxi App account; Cardholders are also required to settle payment for the transaction with an eligible e-payment method, including but not limited to credit cards, debit cards, Octopus, Apple Pay, Google Pay and eligible corporate membership cards (collectively, “Eligible E-payment Method”).
5. A Cardholder can have the discretion to redeem Taxi Dollars previously earned or not when he/she pays for a ride using an Eligible e-payment method.
6. If the taxi fare is more than or equal to the balance of Taxi Dollars, the system will automatically deduct the cumulative Taxi Dollars from the Cardholder’s HKTaxi App account; for the avoidance of doubt, the, Cardholder cannot select a specific deduction amount of Taxi Dollars in the Cardholder’s HKTaxi App account. If the taxi fare is less than the balance of Taxi Dollars, the system will automatically deduct the Taxi Dollars from the Cardholder’s HKTaxi App account until the taxi fare is fully settled, and the remaining Taxi Dollars may be used in the Cardholder’s next rides through HKTaxi.
7. Taxi Dollars will expire on the last day of the subsequent month in which it is obtained. Any and all Taxi Dollar will be forfeited after the expiry date.
8. Mastercard Asia/Pacific (Hong Kong) Limited shall hold no liability whatsoever for any disputes arising from and/or associated to a Cardholder’s use of the Taxi Dollars obtained under this Offer.
9. The use of Taxi Dollars obtained under this Offer is subject to the terms and conditions as stipulated by HKTaxi App Limited.
10. HKTaxi App Limited and Mastercard Asia/Pacific (Hong Kong) Limited reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time and to vary or terminate the Offer without prior notice. A Cardholder’s use of services provided by HKTaxi after the update to these Terms and Conditions indicates his/her agreement to be bound by the updated Terms and Conditions.
11. In the event of disputes with a Cardholder on the Promotion, the decision of HKTaxi App Limited and Mastercard Asia/Pacific (Hong Kong) Limited shall be final and binding.
12. The Offer is only applicable to Cardholders whose eligible Mastercard accounts are determined at the sole discretion of the relevant issuing banks to be in good standing and remain valid and not in default during the relevant promotion period.
13. Any fraud and/or abuse committed by any person, as determined by HKTaxi App Limited and Mastercard Asia/Pacific (Hong Kong) Limited at their sole discretion, in relation to the Offer will result in the forfeiture of the person’s eligibility to the Offer. HKTaxi App Limited and Mastercard Asia/Pacific (Hong Kong) Limited reserve the right to deduct the value of any Offer inappropriately redeemed from any account in which the redeemed Offer is stored without prior notice and/or take legal actions in such instances to recover any outstanding amounts.
