Remarks
1. Benefit only applies to dine-in services made in-person at Local and / or Abroad Restaurants. The full participating restaurants list can be found here. Check The List before dining as it may change without prior notice. Transaction is not eligible if the restaurant is not on The List at the time of visit.
2. One-time enrollment is required for both Local and Abroad Dining Credit. Cardmembers who enrolled into the benefit during the first redemption period will automatically be enrolled for the following redemption periods and do not need to re-enroll.
3. Below transaction is not eligible for the Benefit: (i). Purchases of gift cards, vouchers, deposits, cancellation, no-show charges, takeaways or dine-at-home service and Currency Conversion Fee; (ii). Transaction that made by Online Payment, QR payments, or restaurants’ in-app payments
4. During the promotion period, up to HK$500 statement credit applicable to the first HK$500 spend at the participating abroad/local restaurants in each redemption period (a. January 7- June 30, 2025, b. July 1-Dec 31, 2025). Credits should appear on statements within 30 days but may take up to 90 days from the end of Benefit Period. Credits are not redeemable for cash or other payment form.
5. For Participating Abroad Restaurants located in Japan, a prepaid reservation must be made through Pocket Concierge.
Global Dining Credit (Local Dining Credit) – Terms & Conditions
1. Benefit is valid from January 7 to December 31, 2025 (“Benefit Period”).
2. Each Registered Card can get up to HK$500 statement credit in each period: The first redemption period is from January 7 to June 30, 2025; The second redemption period is from July 1 to December 31, 2025 (“Benefit”). Benefit is valid from the date of registration. Unused credit will be forfeited after each redemption period. Registered Card must be charged before each redemption period ends for the statement credit eligibility.
3. Benefit is available to Basic Cards of The Platinum Card® or American Express® Peninsula Platinum Card issued in Hong Kong by American Express International, Inc. (“Eligible Card”) that have successfully registered this Benefit during the Benefit Period. Transactions on Supplementary Card or Additional Card are not eligible.
4. Save the Benefit to the Eligible Card before making payment with the Registered Card at Participating Local Restaurants (“Local Restaurants”) to qualify for the Benefit. Payments made on other Cards do not qualify.
5. Benefit only applies to dine-in services made in-person at Local Restaurants in Hong Kong. 7. Online Payment, QR payments, or restaurants’ in-app payments may not be eligible for the Benefit. Please pay at the designated till point at Local Restaurants.

10. Purchases of goods and/or services from Local Restaurants are governed by their respective Terms & Conditions (including privacy policies). Contact directly to the Local Restaurants for any inquiries or complaint about their goods and/or services.
11. Credit may not be applied if the account has been suspended or cancelled and may be reversed if transaction is returned or cancelled.
12. Un-posted/cancelled/refunded transactions and transactions that are found to be fraudulent or are eventually cancelled/refunded is not eligible.
13. Local Restaurants are solely responsible for all products, services, consultations, and advice. American Express is not the provider of any of these products and/or services that are made available pursuant to the Benefit and makes no representation or warranty in relation to such products and/or services.
14. American Express shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of taking or using any of the products/services, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
15. American Express reserves the right to amend the Terms & Conditions or terminate the Benefit at any time without prior notice.

17. In the event of any dispute arising from this Benefit, the decision of American Express and Local Restaurants shall be final.
18. In the event of any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms & Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
